Scope
This policy applies to the VPNMu website, user panel, client connection process, order processing, and ticket support. By using the service, users acknowledge the data practices described in this policy. Payment services or other independent websites accessed through links are operated by their respective providers; their data practices are outside this policy's control.
VPNMu processes data only as needed to provide network acceleration, complete orders, protect accounts, troubleshoot issues, and improve the website. Data is not used to build profiles of users' interest in accessing international websites and is not sold to advertising data brokers.
Data Collected and How It Is Used
Registration requires only a username and password, with no email address required. VPNMu therefore does not collect a registration email when an account is opened. The username identifies the account, while the password verifies login identity. Passwords should not match credentials used for other services.
Order records include the selected item, amount due and paid, payment channel, order status, creation and processing times, and transaction reference information. These data are used to confirm entitlements, process refunds, review unusual orders, and respond to support tickets. Site analytics may include pages viewed, referring pages, browser type, device category, error events, and necessary network request information, used to find page failures, identify abnormal requests, and understand content usage.
No-Logs Position and Connection Data
VPNMu does not record which websites users access through an accelerated connection, nor does it retain browsing content, queries, or destination history intended to reconstruct browsing activity. The service does not build personal browsing profiles from accelerated traffic.
To establish and maintain an active connection, the system processes necessary authentication and traffic-usage status during the session. After the session ends, these session states are not retained as routine connection logs over the long term. Aggregated usage used for plan allowance calculations reflects only consumed capacity and does not include content or a list of websites visited.
Error details, screenshots, or diagnostic materials voluntarily submitted in a support ticket are retained with that ticket to address the related issue. Users should redact unrelated personal information before submitting materials; after the issue is resolved, users can submit a deletion request through the user panel.
Cookies and Local Storage
The website and user panel may use Cookies or browser local storage to save login status, language preferences, interface choices, and necessary security markers. These data keep sessions continuous, reduce repeated setup, and support account features; they are not used to record browsing content within an accelerated connection.
Users can clear or restrict these data through browser settings. After clearing them, users may need to log in again or select preferences again. If the browser completely blocks storage required to maintain a session, some account functions in the user panel may not work properly.
Payment Processing and Data Protection
VPNMu supports Alipay / WeChat Pay / USDT. Payment confirmation is handled by the relevant payment service. Payment account details, authorization credentials, and information required by the payment service are received by the relevant processor under its own rules. VPNMu typically receives only the payment result, amount, channel, and transaction reference information needed to complete an order, and does not directly control the data retained by the payment service.
VPNMu applies administrative measures such as access restrictions, transmission protection, and activity records to account and order data. Relevant data may be accessed by authorized personnel or necessary service processors only when required to provide services, handle tickets, review orders, or meet applicable obligations.
Retention, Deletion, and Policy Updates
Account information is retained while the account remains active. Order information is kept for the period required to process transactions, refunds, disputes, and necessary financial reconciliation. Site access records are retained only as long as needed for security analysis, troubleshooting, and statistical aggregation, then deleted or converted into aggregated data that cannot be directly linked to an account. Exceptions apply where legal obligations, unresolved disputes, or risk investigations require continued retention.
Users can log in to the user panel and request deletion of account information, ticket attachments, or other identifiable data through a support ticket. VPNMu first verifies the relationship between the request and the account, then processes eligible content for deletion. Data still needed for an order dispute or applicable obligation will be handled after the relevant matter ends. Deleting an account may make existing subscriptions, historical order lookup, and client connections unavailable.
When this policy changes, the page will update the “Last updated” date. If a change materially affects the scope of account data collection, purposes of use, or user rights, VPNMu will also publish an announcement through the user panel. Before continuing to use the service, users can review the updated policy and decide whether to keep their account.
